The Tony O'Mahony Memorial Blitz '17
On Tuesday 20th June in the blistering heat classes from rang a hAon - rang a trí participated in a blitz. Four matches were played and the top two teams competed in the final with Waterford winning the blitz and Kerry runners up. It was a lovely day and the skills on show were superb. A huge thanks to all who helped out in any way and who made this a really special day.
School Tour '17
A great day was had on May 23rd. First class spent the morning in Fota Wildlife Park. They toured the park and learned about the different animals residing there. In the afternoon the children went to Bounce Zone. They really enjoyed this and a great day was had by all.
Engineering week '17
First class worked in groups to design a rollercoster using foam and marbles. It was great to see the children problem solving and using their engineering brains to design a rollercoster and ensure that its fit for purpose.
